He was killed 4/16/2011 of wounds suffered when an Afghan National Army soldier attacked a group of soldiers with multiple grenades at Forward Operating Base Gamberi in Nangarhar Province Afghanistan.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Micah A Hill, 27, of Ralston NE was assigned to the USS Enterprise. He died 4/19/2011 as a result of a non-combat related incident. The USS Enterprise is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting operations in support of Operation New Dawn.
